Tuition Scholarships

In 2012, we will again be able to award at least 50 participants with scholarships.  So we encourage you to submit a scholarship application by March 23rd.

Awarding Criteria

The following criteria will be considered in the awarding process:

• Intercultural experience (e.g. internships abroad, semester abroad, school exchange)
• English language proficiency (level C1 highly recommended)
• Academic record of the past 2 years (Grade average of at least 2,3 [German grading system] respectively B)
• Proven record of active participation within the civil society (e.g. community service programs, volunteer work, school/class representative)
• Individual indigence of the applicant

Scholarship Amount

Full and partial scholarships will be provided. Partial scholarships will cover the better part of the tuition fee but scholars will also pay 350€ as their own share. The fees cover tuition, all course materials and public events. Not included are: travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses.

Scholarship Application and Deadline

Here, you’ll find the scholarship application form. To be able to consider scholarship applications, we need you to also register for the Summer Academy in our online registration tool. Still, you can hold back your payment until you have notice on your scholarship applications.
If no scholarship can be granted, applicants are free to withdraw their registration without any cancellation fee.

We will inform about successful applications latest by 2nd of April.
