Karlshochschule – International University

Karlshochschule International University, located in Karlsruhe in the southwest of Germany, is an internationally-oriented private university offering accredited degree programmes in business administration and management that are taught in English. Its main focus lies in the field of international management and in emerging service industries. Karlshochschule uses an interdisciplinary approach toward economic topics that includes perspectives from communication studies, cultural studies, sociology, psychology and economic geography. An intensive link between teaching and practice, a strong international and intercultural focus, instructors with extensive practical experience, small study groups as well as the personal and relaxed contact between professors, staff and students provide students with a unique study environment.

AFS – Interkulturelle Begegnungen e.V.

AFS is a leader in intercultural learning and offers international exchange programs in over 50 countries around the world through independent, not-for-profit AFS organizations, each with a network of volunteers, a professionally staffed office, and headed up by a volunteer board.

The aim of all AFS exchange programs is to foster tolerance and understanding through the exchange between different cultures, leading to a process of intercultural learning. AFS enables people to act as responsible global citizens working for peace and understanding in a diverse world. We pursue our mission by providing quality intercultural learning opportunities for a growing number of young people, families, other stakeholders and wider audiences, thus developing an inclusive community of global citizens determined to build bridges between cultures.

InterCultur offers trainings, workshops and consultancy for educational institutions and organisations and enterprises in need of better handling with and enhanced understanding of other cultures.

InterCultur is a subsidiary of AFS Interkulturelle Begegnungen e.V. and therewith part of the oldest and worldwide biggest organisation for intercultural exchanges. Over 60 years of experience in pedagogical supervision of intercultural encounters and situations stand for our know-how.
